YOUTH CAMP (Grades 8 to 12)

Youth Camp’s Senior High School campers, who have completed grades 8 to 12, will enjoy the many well-loved activities of the traditional camping program. However, youth campers will also treasure memories that are made during activities such as service projects, talent show, theme night and off- camp trips. TEEN CAMP (Grades 5 to 7)

July 8 @ 3:00 pm - July 14 @ 10:00 am

Campfires, Bible lessons, crafts, nature hikes, recreation and swimming are just the beginning of an activity-filled week for campers who are completing the 5th to 7th grades. Campers will enjoy kayaking and archery. All camp activities are designed to meet the needs of tweens. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with those met before. Registration will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, and camp ends Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

HORSES, HORSES, HORSES, TOO (Grades 5 to 7)

Horse Camp is one of our most popular programs! Campers will have five experiences at the horse barn.  During Horse Camp they will have opportunities to learn about horses and equestrian safety, and they will experience riding!!!  Campers will stay at Camp Mardela and travel offsite for riding activities.  Campers will need long pants and shoes with heels for riding. Younger Youth Camp (Grades 3 and 4)

July 15 @ 3:00 pm - July 19 @ 7:00 pm

This camp provides an opportunity for young campers to make a transition into the full week camping program. Campers have the opportunity to take part in many of the traditional summer camp activities including swimming, crafts, Bible lessons, music, recreation, nature studies, camp fires and fishing. Campers enjoy the opportunity to sleep in their cabin with two counselors as a part of their camp family unit. Registration will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, and camp will close on Thursday…

Me and You Camp (Children completing K-1 with Adult)

July 20 @ 5:00 pm - July 21 @ 3:00 pm

This camp serves as an introduction to the camping program at Camp Mardela. Any child completing kindergarten or first grade is invited to attend this first time camping experience with one parent or another adult family member (with a parent’s permission). Both parent and child will become familiar with the camp setting as they participate in traditional camp activities including Bible lessons, crafts, music, nature studies, games, and more. Outdoor Adventures (Grades 5 to 8)

Enjoy exploring Maryland’s Beautiful Eastern Shore through a variety of travel and camping opportunities. Campers will stay in tents during this week of special adventures. The program has included high ropes courses, sailing instruction, climbing walls, kayaking trips, orienteering, nature studies, golf, fishing, and much more. Activities will vary somewhat from year to year based on schedules and availability. Campers register on Sunday at 3 p.m. and are dismissed on Friday at 5:00 p.m.

CULINARY ARTS CAMP (Completing Grades 4-7)

July 22 @ 3:00 pm - July 27 @ 5:00 pm

Learn the basics of cooking—everything from food safety, to proper measuring methods, to garnishing—as you prepare actual meals. Campers will have the opportunity to plan, prepare, and serve their creations all week long. If you already love cooking or you are just interested in learning something new…. join us for cooking fun. Bon Appétit! Campers register on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. and are dismissed on Friday at 5:00 p.m. with a closing program.

ARTS AND CRAFTS CAMP (GRADES 3-5)

This is the perfect camp for the young artist.  If you like painting, building and creating then this is the camp for YOU!  Campers will create exciting projects each day and participate in traditional camp activities as well!  Campers will register at 3 p.m. on Sunday and camp will wrap up at 5:00 p.m. on Friday!

ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN WEEK (Grades 4-6)

July 22 @ 3:00 pm - July 27 @ 5:00 pm

Anything Can Happen Week promises to be full of fun and surprises.  Each day will feature an exciting theme!  Themes like Christmas Day, Super Hero Day and Wacky Water Day are just the beginning!  In addition to daily themes campers will also participate in traditional camp activities.  So, come see what it means when Anything Can Happen!  Campers will register at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Camp will dismiss at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
