Youth today can become the great leaders of tomorrow and you can help! Camp Mardela is seeking young people to serve as C.I.T.’s. This is a training program that will give youth skills to become leaders. Loan us your youth for a few weeks this summer and we will return them to you and your church ready to serve!
If you are 14 or 15, you are eligible to apply for the C.I.T program at Camp Mardela. This program is an exciting way to challenge your own personal growth.
Throughout the entire program you will be studying God’s Word to determine how you can become a stronger and more effective leader. Allow God to work in your life this summer, be a C.I.T.!

How the C.I.T. Program progresses
Week One: The C.I.T. will pay ½ of the regular tuition for the week that they are at camp. (If you are a member of a Church of the Brethren and your church is paying ½ of the regular camp tuition…You will pay ¼ of the regular tuition and your church will pay ¼ of the regular tuition).
Week Two: If the C.I.T. has a successful experience in their first week of service, they maybe invited to return for a second week in that same summer. At that point the C.I.T will attend this week of camp at no charge (room and board will be provided).
Week Three: The C.I.T. may be asked to continue service at the camp for a third week. If the C.I.T. serves a third week in the same summer they will be paid $100 for this service.
What does a C.I.T. do at camp?
A C.I.T. will be learning about all areas and operations of Camp Mardela. In addition to shadowing a counselor and Jr Counselor in the cabin, a C.I.T. may also work in the camp kitchen, help in the area of maintenance, or work in the camp office. If you have always wondered about all the things that it takes to make summer camp happen…this experience is for YOU!
